Materials: Oxidized Sterling Silver filled with silver pills and a 2.2 round cut black spinel on a 20" wheat chain.

Dimensions: Sterling Silver Wheat Chain Pendant 2" H x 0.5" W. Silver Pill is 0.25" or 5 mm. Includes open pill not in the bottle to accompany the piece. 

About the piece:

Bottle is permanently closed and filled with handmade Sterling Silver "Pills" marked with letter B. The pills can be viewed from opening on the pendant. One Silver pill is available to accompany the necklace. "My piece for the Plan B exhibition is inspired by the ever more restricted options left for women in Texas who have had unprotected sex, whether by choice or not. The Plan B Pill (also known as emergency contraception or the “morning after pill”), is still available, which is why I filled my bottle with handmade pills stamped with a “B”. However, I sealed the bottle, leaving only a window, to show that even this option has its limitations." - Karin Jacobson
